Eastport Water Supply Contaminated!

Concerned Citizens:

It is the King's duty, nay burden, to report risks to our public health.

Something is in the water in Eastport. It has now shown up in parts of Ward One. And a few people in Admiral Heights have early symptoms.

Unfocused thinking. Inability to add and subtract. Hyper-emotional mood swings. Unable to tell the difference between fantasy and reality. Anger management issues.

Yes, Eastport has it bad. It first started when we were told to 'stop the gunfire'. Then it spread from Miami and Boucher to Burnside and Chesapeake. It has now gotten worse. Much worse.

Public meetings disrupted. Incoherent rantings spewed. Hate filled speech everywhere. Self inflated egos running amuck.

It must be in the water supply. Contaminated by some nut cases wanting to have a Tea Party.

So clear thinkers of Annapolis -- stay away from the water supply in Eastport!

  1. Screw Eastport. Cohen did. And speaking of Cohen it seems he must have the communication skills of a blind slug. What does he do all day sit in his office with the blinds down playing with toy soldiers imagining he is King of Annapolis ? Ha. All the boy Mayor had to do was walk around and eat with the little people, circulate amongst the unwashed union workers, or even chat with a few office workers and he would have known about the theft of OUR money. We must get rid of Josh immediately as he clearly is incompetent. Was he too busy rolling around in his budget victory and taking boat rides to mind the mint.

    RECAL COHEN !!!!

  2. Dear Reader:

I too recall Cohen. The young man on Moticello. Playing basketball with his mates. Walking downtown to Chick and Ruth's.

    Ah, the days of yore!

  3. We have our own private wells, septic tanks, firearms, private roads and live in fireproof cinderblock houses.

We don't need the City - Please revoke the Charter, dissolve the government and get the tax man out of our pockets.

  4. They're a pretty tightly wound over there across the bridge - maybe it's the lack of a fresh breeze felt downtown & social obligation.

  6. Every one on annapolis has had their water polluted by Cohen, by acting tough and not firing anyone he pretty much p*s#ed in everyones water supply. And then he has the nerve to further separate us from the ruling class by hiding behind closed doors in order to talk about the crime. He is a very poor Mayor and his track record of tasks not completed should get longer when we force him out or he quits.

Recall Cohen ( and his mother)

  8. Cohen Names Kirby to be Acting Mayor

Annapolis, MD (06-18-10) -- In compliance with the City Code, Mayor Joshua J. Cohen announced that he appointed Alderman Kenneth Kirby as acting mayor from 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 18, through 8 p.m. Sunday, June 20.

Article V, Section 3 of the City Code states that the mayor "shall designate in writing an alderman to serve as acting mayor and to perform the duties of the office during the mayor's absence from the city for longer than one (1) day or during the mayor's temporary disability. ... An acting mayor has the same rights, duties, powers and obligations as the mayor."

  10. Dear George,
I find it difficult to believe that you have nothing to say about the heist.

  12. The taxpayer's money has been getting stolen for years. The latest event was just a way of doing it without the additional waste of running it through the bureaucracy

  13. Who cares? It only matters that Cohen is reducing the Gov't and will soon revoke the charter and turn the keys over to the County when he figures out how much all of these "services" is really costing the taxpayers.

What are City police and fireman doing the County can't? Does Annapolis really need a separate Permits and Zoning office? Annapolis is too small to be a sustainable bureaucrcay and doesn't have the scale required to be efficient.

Fold the City into the County and cut it all the waste away...

  14. The county will soon and rightfully take over the water plant.

  15. Add up the millions wasted during the Moyer administration - $5,000,000 on the Market House, $26,000,000 on a Rec Center, millions in environmental "feel good" projects and millions more in six figure salaries, a bloated government and unnecessary jobs for political cronies. That's why the Annapolis is in an economic mess. It's not difficult to understand the problem.

It may not be difficult to understand the problem, but clearly The Boy Mayor is incapable on finding a solution. How long will Ben and Jerry's stay vacant, and that turkish place is empty now as well. And the market house...empty, Josh's idea bank....empty.

We need youth and vigor and common cents. simple common sense ; )

Good article by Josh Stewart today in the Capital.

BTW , how much money do you think the city loses every year in office products that are converted to school supplies ? We have reason to believe this type of theft is empidemic.

  19. Why would the subjects of the Great Kingdom of Anne Arundel want to take over the little town of Annapolis. Too many pitfalls and no upside to a takeover...
Watching Annapolis self-implode is more interesting.
